About Sportnex AS-3 EV
The Sportnex AS-3 EV is the AS-3 built for electric cars. The same asymmetric grand touring character, tuned for the three things an EV asks of a tyre: weight, torque and noise.

A battery makes an electric car hundreds of kilograms heavier than the petrol car it looks like, and most of that load goes into the sidewall. The AS-3 EV reinforces the sidewall further, and the tread is built to take the torque that arrives in the first second, which is what wears an EV's tyres so quickly.
Noise matters twice as much in an electric car, because no engine covers it: the tyre is the loudest thing in the cabin. The AS-3 is already the quietest NANKANG makes and the EV version goes further with it, while lower rolling resistance goes straight into range.
