What pressure should 225/45R17 be inflated to?

When should a tyre be replaced?

Replace a summer tyre by 1.6 mm of tread and a winter tyre by about 4 mm; when the tread has worn down to the wear bars the tyre is finished. Whatever its age, a tyre with a cracked, bulging or deformed sidewall is not fit to use.
